About Us
Nassau County Wood Floors
Seamus Singleton came to this country as a young man of 24. With hard work and determination, he started Floors by Seamus. His goal was to provide Long Island and its surrounding communities with a flooring company that offers old world craftsmanship and excellent service. He and his wife have raised their family of five in Merrick NY right in the middle of the community they happily serve.
For the last 26 years Seamus has grown the business with honesty, integrity, attention to detail and a drive to provide his customers with beautiful floors!

Seamus was wonderful to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable and finished the job a day earlier than we expected. We had two different types of wood floors but wanted a natural stain and for them to look as similar as possible. He worked with us to test an area with a few samples and we found a combination that worked wonderfully! He was the only person who even knew the floors were made out of a different wood and we had several companies come in for estimates. We highly recommend him!
